Instructions and Information
July 14th - July 19th 2019
LOR Youth Camp is sponsored by the United Church of the Lord our Righteousness. Its objective is to provide a camping and group living experience for children and to instill in them an appreciation of God's love beginning with the gift of his Son. Camp Bible lessons are interdenominational and suitable for children of most Christian faiths. The camp is licensed and inspected by the Michigan Department of Social Services.

Bible lessons, crafts, softball, volleyball, nature study, campfire, canoeing, archery, low ropes course and swimming. Swimming is lifeguarded and carefully supervised.
$100 per child. Make checks payable to C.O.L.O.R. Fees must be paid one week prior to start of camp.
8-17 (18 yr. olds who have attended this camp at least 1 year are welcome as cabin counselors; those 18 and/or graduated from high school and who have completed all staff forms and training are welcome as staff).
What to Bring
Sleeping bag or sheets, blanket, pillow, bath towel, washcloth, soap, everyday and dress clothes, toothbrush, Bible, notebook, swimming suit, sunscreen, beach towel, warm night clothes, jacket and insect spray. A windup alarm clock would be useful. PLEASE MARK ALL CLOTHING. You can also bring a ball glove, Frisbee and a flashlight all with your childs name on it.
$8.00 is more than enough money for the candy sale. The camp is not responsible for lost money.
NO FOOD, DRINKS OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED AT CAMP, this means CELL PHONES etc.
A limited number are available. If you know of a child who needs to be sponsored or wish to sponsor a child, please contact us.
Arrival and Pickup
Registration is from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m on Sunday July 14th. Dinner is the first meal and will be served at 6:00 in the mess hall.
Pick up is on Friday July 19th after the closing program. The closing program at Wathna Lodge starts at 7:00 p.m. and will be finished about 8:30 p.m. Please come and see the awards presented for camper and counselor of the year. This is a special time for the campers, please come and enjoy it with them.
Lost and Found
Items left at camp can be claimed on the next Saturday following camp at Church of the Lord Our Righteousness, 1922 LaSalle Road, Monroe, MI, aprox. 3 miles north of M-50 and ½ mile west of Telegraph. Contact Diane to arrange pick-up: 734.417.2392.

Pictures and updates are posted daily on our Facebook page during camp. You're encouraged to visit and see what everyone is up to throughout the week!
Every night we have campfire where campers tell jokes, perform skits, songs and musical numbers that award points for their individual cabins. Come prepared! On Thursday night the campers put on a Variety Show. Campers should bring along ideas and props if needed.
